Crew member in the Rolex Fastnet Race 2023 with a start in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, one of the most famous Yacht Club on the planet, the Rolex Fastnet Race is one of the greatest offshore sailing race. An event that takes place every two years.

Be part of the race onboard one of our Challenge 67 to run this legendary crewed race. Almost 300 sailing yachts of all kinds, from 9 to 30 meters, take part, heading west down the Solent and out through the Needles, past the major south coast headlands, Anvil Point, Portland Bill, Start Point, and Lands End before rounding the famous Fastnet rock and then returning via the Scilly Isles before finishing in Cherbourg.

You can be part of the crew to race almost 700 nautical miles, helped by a professionnal crew (skipper and tactician). Whatever your skills are, fighting spirit is compulsory to get involved in such a sailing race to be a crew member in the Rolex Fastnet Race 2021.
Duration is 11 to 13 days, including 300 nautical miles qualification from Lorient when delivering the boat to Cowes and back to South Brittany after the race. Start of the race is in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, and ends for the second time in Cherbourg. Possibility to disembark in Normandy. Boat wil then be delivered to Lorient after the race.
Security first
At least 1/3 of the crew must have qualified ISAF course (5 years validity). If you want to attend to this course, one can do it at the CEPS in Lorient. French sailing licence is compulsory. Being a French Sailing School member of the French Sailing Association (Fédération Française de Voile), we can deliver licences.
