Offshore sailing course<\/strong> from Brittany to the Canary islands with an 8 to 10 days boarding. Program for this offshore navigation onboard a crewed VOR 60<\/strong>, the Bay of Biscay, then along Portugal to reach the Canary archipelago. With a departure from Lorient<\/strong> and an arrival in Las Palmas<\/strong>, this stopover is the end of the first leg crossing the Atlantic before the start of the ARC 2026 in which we are participating.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As part of the participation of Libertalia, our crewed VOR 60, in the Atlantic Ralluy For Cruisers<\/strong>, the first leg takes place from Lorient to reach Las Palmas in Gran Canaria. This is a participating and committed offshore course<\/strong> to discover offshore navigation aboard a racing sailboat. It includes a first part of the Atlantic crossing. Committing as a crew member aboard Libertalia, whatever your level, is not trivial. Moreover, it is a performing and extreme racing sailboat<\/strong>. It is a demanding and powerful unit. In fact, it is a Formula 1 of the seas with very spartan comfort.<\/p>\n

The first part of this offshore sailing course<\/strong> from Brittany to Canary Islands will take you to Cape Finisterre crossing the Bay of Biscay. We will then find the best route to reach the Canary Islands, either along the Portuguese coast or further offshore depending on the weather conditions.<\/p>\n

8 to 10 days of navigation in the Atlantic Ocean, punctuated by ascending, descending and stand-by shifts<\/strong>. Everyone actively participates in running the sailboat, supervised by 4 professional sailors.<\/div>\n
