Sailing to the Azores from South Brittany for a 14 days course : offshore sailing across the North Atlantic and then discover Archipelago Azores. 1300 nautical miles from South Brittany gives you the opportunity to experience offshore sailing onboard one of our crewed Challenge 67.
Sailing to the azores
The idea for this course is to combine offshore sailing experience with a half Atlantic crossing and visit a popular and marvelous destination, the Azores. Located at the latitude of Lisboa, the nine islands of the Portuguese Archipelago are volcanic origin. Their northern position and ocean climate give a lush vegetation and marine wildlife such as sperm whales, beaked whales and dolphins. With its 2351 meters, the Ponta do Pico volcano is the peak of the Azores.
